Pergola Kit Assembly in Scottsdale, AZ
Scottsdale backyards set a higher bar: the pergola has to look like it came with the house. We assemble pergola kits square, plumb, and anchored, and we leave the yard looking better than we found it.

Sonoran Standard is not a licensed contractor. Under Arizona law, that limits us to small, minor jobs: under $1,000 total, labor and materials together, and only where your city does not require a building permit. Permit rules differ by city, so ask your building department first. If a job is over that limit or needs a permit, we can't take it.
Held to McCormick Ranch standards
In HOA-strict neighborhoods like McCormick Ranch and Gainey Ranch, the job isn't done when the pergola stands. It's done when the kit is square and plumb and the yard is spotless. That's the standard we hold everywhere, but Scottsdale is where it gets noticed.
Scottsdale pergola kit assembly questions, answered
Do you build custom pergolas in Scottsdale or just kits?
Kits only. A custom build is licensed contractor work in Arizona, and Sonoran Standard is not a licensed contractor. Send a photo of the patio and the kit you're looking at and we'll tell you whether it's a job we can take.
Is there a travel charge to Scottsdale?
No. Scottsdale is part of our standard East Valley service area, and the quote you're given is the entire price.
