These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) apply to your use of sonoran-standard.com and to any junk removal, gutter cleaning, pergola installation, playset assembly, or related work you request from Sonoran Standard (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By requesting a quote or booking a job, you agree to these Terms.
1. Acceptance of terms
By submitting a quote request, scheduling an appointment, or allowing us to perform work, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and that you have read and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or request our services.
2. Services we provide
Sonoran Standard is a service-area business based in Mesa, Arizona, serving Mesa, Gilbert, Chandler, Tempe, Queen Creek, Scottsdale, and Apache Junction. We provide junk removal and hauling, gutter cleaning, pergola installation, and playset and swing set assembly. The specific scope of any job is the scope described in the quote we provide for that job.
3. Quotes, booking, and scheduling
- Quotes. We quote a flat price for the work before we begin. Quotes are based on the information you give us, including any photos you send. If the actual job differs materially from what was described (for example, more items, added weight, or restricted access), we will confirm an updated price with you before continuing.
- Booking. You can request a job through our quote form, by booking a time on our scheduling page, or by calling or texting (480) 316-1884.
- Scheduling. Appointment windows are estimates. We will do our best to arrive on time and will contact you if the timing changes.
4. Pricing and payment
- The price we quote for the agreed scope is the price you pay for that scope. We do not add hidden fees to the quoted amount.
- Unless we agree otherwise in writing, payment is due upon completion of the work. Accepted payment methods will be confirmed at the time of your quote.
- Quoted prices are valid for a reasonable period and may change if the job is not scheduled, if the scope changes, or if conditions at the site differ from what was described.
5. Your responsibilities
- Make sure you own the items being removed, or that you are authorized to have them removed, and that no items are subject to a dispute.
- Provide safe, legal, and reasonable access to the work area, including space to park and load, and disclose any hazards we should know about.
- Remove or secure any belongings you want to keep before we begin. Once an item is identified for removal and hauled away, it cannot be recovered.
- Obtain any permits or homeowner association approvals that your property or project may require.
6. Items we cannot accept
For safety and legal reasons, we do not haul hazardous materials, including paint, chemicals, solvents, asbestos, and similar items. If hazardous materials are present, we will let you know and point you toward proper disposal options. We reserve the right to decline any item or job at our discretion.
7. Liability
We take care to perform every job responsibly and to leave your space clean. To the fullest extent permitted by Arizona law, our total liability for any claim arising out of the work is limited to the amount you paid for that job. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. If you believe we caused damage during a job, please tell us within a reasonable time so we can review it and make it right.
8. Service quality
We stand behind our work and want you to be satisfied. If something about a completed job does not meet what we agreed to, contact us and we will work with you to resolve it fairly.
9. Cancellation and rescheduling
Plans change, and we understand that. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please let us know as early as you reasonably can so we can offer the time to someone else. We ask for the same courtesy and will give you as much notice as possible if we ever need to move an appointment.
10. Intellectual property
The content on this site, including text, logos, and images, belongs to Sonoran Standard or is used with permission, and may not be copied or reused without our consent. Before-and-after photos of completed jobs may be used to showcase our work; if you would prefer we not photograph your job, just let us know.
11. Force majeure
We are not responsible for delays or failures to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, monsoon storms, extreme heat, accidents, or other circumstances that make it unsafe or impractical to work. We will reschedule affected jobs as soon as we reasonably can.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute relating to these Terms or our services will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the site or our services after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
